1. (net lag) (4368↑, 2046↓)
A feeling like jetlag that happens after you use your computer after sunset and the bright backlight tricks your body into thinking it's still daytime. (For details, google "photoentrainment".)

I was online until midnight last night, and now I feel like I'm still on Tokyo time. Net lag sucks.

2. (net lag) (62↑, 33↓)
A temporary disruption of the body's biological clock experienced by persons who stay awake all night chatting on the Internet to someone resident in another time zone (typically a person they have never met and never will). The effects of net lag, which may include fatigue and irritability, generally disappear soon after one's partner discovers the conversation history in the messaging application.

"Damn Taylor, you look like shit today" "I know, that Swedish chick is giving me a severe case of net lag."

the sum of jet-lag-like symptoms caused by watching a series of matches (e.g. the FIFA World Cup) live, in the small hours of the night, due to major national time differences, over a period of days or weeks (with "net" referring to the net in soccer, or tennis, or volleyball, etc.)

There are still two late-night World Cup matches to watch\! Football has caused me a lot of very late nights this month, and I'm blooming knackered, suffering from an acute case of "net lag"\!
